diagnostic code 1081
I keep getting the code P1081. I installed a new receiver antenna behind the steering wheel but it still cuts out after starting. maybe 3 or 4 times then starts.

Check the electrical connector of the signal cable between the Immobilizer Control Module and the Engine Control Module (ECM).
If the contacts are not good the signal can get corrupted.
The Immobilizer Control Module is under the driver's side soundproofing panel and mounted on the steering column's Tilt mechanism.
