Like many before me, when cleaning the cabin temperature intake I broke the termistor. Replaced it with the suggested model and heater started kicking in, maybe just a bit weaker than before. I live in Canada and winters are tough.
Interestingly enough, while the following termistor is suggested: b57540g1103f000, I have also tried B57863S0103F040 https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/e ... -ND/739899 with similar results.
What I have noticed though, that when I make hard turns (90 degree as at an intersection), the hot air from the cabin blower holes is replaced with cold air for a brief period of time. I am dumbfounded by why a turn would cause such behaviour in heating / blower.
Any ideas?
The settings are: AC off, internal air circulation only. Only middle and bottom holes are activated.
Turn right or left will start mixing in cold air from the outside...
What gives?
Heater cutting out on turns?
