Brake Fluid Level Low Message 2008 Volvo S40 but lvl full

Hello All
hopefully someone can help me with this.


I have a message that my brake fluid level is low stop safely with a large triangle in the center display.

My brake fluid is full , was slightly low but filled up disconnected battery to reset but still the same message.

The brakes feel fine and I checked the pads on front when I pulled head to do the bent valves, that was a adventure in it self !!

Hopefully someone has had this issue and knows the cure to the triangle and the message.

Well I finally found the problem after checking the Float

Seems I had a little friend help me out during the night

The little rodent chewed through the wires going to the Lvl indicator float repaired all is well now!
