84 245 rich running problem

Car has about 140k on it and went to store and wouldn't stay running unless key held over to start. Replaced AMM and will stay running but rough and rich. Did all electrical checks at ecu plug and AMM, all okay, all spark plugs and oxy sensor black. Wiring diagram shows cold start injector, but I can't find one on the top of intake manual says this car's cold start and thermotime were replaced by ecu. Had injectors out to see if they were dripping, okay. The orange wire with the connector under the intake if disconnected makes it run better but richer yet and that orange wire 9 and 36 to maf and throttle switch any idea?

Have you checked the Fuel Pressure Regulator? When the diaphram fails inside they will cause the car to run really rich.

I checked for gas inside and hose, for wetness seemed dry, can they fail to high psi, I'm just getting around to making adapters for my gage to see what the values are.
