where the host checked out the worlds highest mileage car in history -
'66 P1800 with 3.2 million miles on it !
Quite the feather in the Volvo hat !

Yes he seemed like quite the character. The car had the original engine ( rebuilt twice ! ) and trans case. Just unbelievable. I'd be wondering about the stress on metal and welds after all of that road time. But the thing looked beautiful ! They mentioned it going to a Volvo museum that is planned for N. Carolina.
And yep - I've been spending a bit of time in Flagstaff for years now, though I live down toward the Prescott area.

The P1800 was originally designed with Weber carburetors, but,the engineers didn’t like getting grilled, and so the Volvo ended up getting SUed.
