I have an 03 V70 2.4 non-turbo (176K miles) that is making an intermittent rumbling/gurgling noise upon pushing the gas (happens idle and in gear); doesn't happen at RPMs greater than ~2K. After turning off the car, there's a metallic clank sound--like a can falling into a metal drum.

I've been under the car and haven't found anything loose (even shook the exhaust system). I changed the oil this weekend and was planning to replace the spark plugs but found oil in the plug chamber (plugs 2 & 3). I've read this could be due to a clogged PCV, or simply because of a faulty oil cap gasket. Tested PCV using glove test and seems like PCV is ok although I noticed a high-pitched whine after replacing the oil cap.

Update: Here's the clip of the noise: https://www.dropbox.com/s/unwjff3hicqkk ... e.MOV?dl=0

I'm at a loss as to the cause of the rumble/gurgle, whining noise, and oil in the spark plug chamber. Any ideas? Thanks for the advice/help.

Was able to clean out the oil in the spark plug chamber and change the plugs. Now I'm left with the noise. Here are two more clips that describe the rumble upon start and shutoff. Makes me think something is loose on intake or vacuum (not an expert though!).
