P80 Electrical assignments for Ignition Switch 9447804 Help needed

Post by abscate » Thu Apr 02, 2020 8:49 am

A very good friend of mine had the electrical connector pop off and scramble the wires on a 1999 NA car - can anyone find the thread where we documented the position of the wires ??

Thanks Rick

There are two different switches on the 1999 model that are also documented in that thread

Note there are two terminal positions labeled 15I, and reports are that the blue yellow wire has been found in either one of them

It is likely these are bridged inside the switch so the variation isn’t important.
I’ll open my dead switch today and confirm

In the diagram. See the dashed line on the second 15I? Dash lines means options.

Just like the wires to the PNP switch and the manual by pass are dashed line because they are both options.
