Replacement of OBD(part A) on '95 S/Wagon

Post by theiceman69 » Fri Apr 03, 2020 3:44 am

After months of cogitating, I finally decided that Part A of the OBD required replacing - 25 years of heat ha taken it's toll - the pins/springs under the button had decided to quit. I purchased a new Part A, and after a small struggle removed the old one from it's location. Carefully putting new parts into place, I decided to try it out. Insert jumper into No7, switch on. Noted one brief flash from the lamp but when I tried to get a code/fault, nothing!!. What have I done wrong or what do I need to do further?
