Finding Parts: 1999 V70 Non-Turbo Wagon

So, I think I have diagnosed the issue with my son's 99 V70--there was a great thread on here that discussed the fuel pressure damper. I have removed the part (1275658) but cannot find one! I even broke down and called the local DEALER (shutter) here, and they said the part is discontinued they can no longer order/get one. HELP!

Check the classifieds for partouts of 1999 and 2000, I’m sure there are some there.

sorry i missed it, what the issue with damper. they got rid of that from 2002 onwards as it doesnt do much.

I would sure get a firm diagnosis on that part failure before spending money on it.

DENSO engine management is really good on both ignition and fuel.

This is EXACTLY what our V70 is doing. The "damper" is a relatively inexpensive, easy to replace part, I figured it is worth the gamble. We bought this for our son who is in college for $1,100 US, so it is hard to throw a lot of money at it.

I'll let you know how it goes!
