New transmission by Smith Volvo 5,000 miles ago. Receipt available.
Continental Control Contact tires have less than 5K on them.
The car easily passes smog.
This car has served us well, but it is time to move on. I don’t have the time to maintain the older Volvos anymore. Car runs fine, transmission shifts great, no check engine light.
It is leaking from the rear main seal as best as I can tell. You can drive it just fine, but you will want to carry some oil with you. I can’t tell you at what rate it is leaking…any leak is too much for me.
The fuse to the Upper Electronic Control Module is pulled. The module started acting up (turning on lights and draining the battery). As such, the keyless entry, the sunroof, and some interior lights are not operational. They all work though.
But, the window, locks, switches, heated seats all work. The interior is in pretty good shape; comes with working cargo cover and cargo net.
Since this is the last of my P2s, this car will come with
• New in box Bosch starter
• New in box inner tie rods
• New in box liftgate strut
• New serpentine belt
• New Ball joint
• 2 new ignition coils
• I’ll throw in some oil if you need it……
I’d like this car to go to someone to return it to its former glory or part it out to keep their rig rolling down the road. If I did not have two young kids, i would fix the issues and throw a lift kit on it and turn it into a dedicated ski rig. Asking $2,000 OBO…….and I would like it gone quick.
If the eventual sale comes through MVS, I will donate $100 to it. It has helped me out over the years of Volvo ownership.
