I think the center dash speaker for the 99-00 SV70 is rare but I need someone to help me out. I want to modify my (98 XC) upper dash pad to make it accommodate a speaker. I got a good deal on a set of Bose speakers including subs. I need a pic of the hole itself, then measurements of diameter and depth of the hole. I read that it's VERY shallow and I have a Bose sub/amp combo SPECIFICALLY for this.

Should go with swapping in a C70 dash as most have the center speaker.

I have rarely seen a c70 in the jy and don't really want to spend a bunch. Do you have access to a C70 to get measurements?

It is very shallow, there's less than an inch under the dash pad.

I tried taking pictures but it's already nightime so they look crap + I only have a tape mesure.
To give you an idea, the size of the hole is around 7" by 7" on the "long side" and by 5.5" on the "short side"

I'll take better measurements and pictures tomorrow if needed

LKQ Pick your part in Oklahoma City. Row I Space 12. The speaker cover is gone but that is the right dash. You pull all the vents and the glove box out to get to the screws holding the dash on.

Yes I have removed the the dash pad before. Today I'll try to remember to post a write-up on the interior swap I did. I believe I have a draft.

Very good write-up. Well here's the pics of sub and amp. Only sub is going up there. If you look at the pic, you can see the piece sticking up that is touching the middle of my index finger. The bottom of the piece is where the bottom of sub begins. I have to measure how deep that is. Amp is gonna go down low, behind the HU somewhere. Can you please measure the exact depth so I know what the max clearance is?
