1999 S70NA cam intake seal job without losing timing

1999 S70NA cam intake seal job without losing timing

Gave this a try and it went well

On Evita, Abby’s S70, had an intake cam seep, no VVT on this car

I loosened the tensioner but kept the timing belt on

I marked the position of the belt to the cams, then locked the belt position on the crank and exhaust cam

I used a zip tie on the exhaust cam, and a very light clamp on the tensioner pulley to lock the belt to the cam

I marked the position of the intakepulley, pulled the bolts, and slipped the pulley off

Cam seal picked, replaced

And back together in 45 minutes.

Now I locked the position of the
