98 V70XC MAP/Baro sensor issue. Topic is solved

I'm getting P0108 codes. I checked the sensor and its poo.

In my research I have found the it sits by the hood latch next to the washer fluid jug. It doesn't measure manifold pressure, just altitude. The sensor is $180 from worldpac, $60 from ipd and I can get a resistor for 5 cents.

My thought was, if someone could ohm check theirs I could bypass it with a resistor and rule it out for my rich AF mix.

I measured my 1998 v70xc. pin 1 front of car
pin 1 to 2 5.5k
pin 2 to 3 6.6k
pin 1 to pin 3 11.5k ohms
I'm at about 350 ft above sea level

Get on from a junkyard, will run you about $6, and you have a lot of junkyards around you in Minneapolis. The baro sensor basically never fails but get two if you want to be sure to not have to deal with it again.

Long time since I looked at this, but if I recall there were several things on the same circuit. I can't recall but I think there were 3 things. The barometric sensor, the (can't recall the name) sensor on the front cross member and I thin the 3rd was some sensor on the A/C system near the bulkhead.

Altitude sensor, A/C pressure sensor and Accelerometer share a common ground through the ECM. If something pulls the ground high or the ground opens all three will shut down.
