Howdy all,
New volvo owner here.
I just bought a 2001 V70 XC, and I've got a few questions.

Research between me and my dad came up with some answers, but seem outdated, and also a question I have that I cant seem to find in the forums.

First question: what are the best TOURING shocks for my Volvo (dont need tight corner control, just looking at daily driver upgrade)

Second question: can I take rotors and pads from an R class v70, and use them on my XC in order to get better breaking power? I was looking at BREMBO but dont want to increase to a 4 piston system.

Thanks, - N

The V70R front brakes need 18” wheels, though certain 17” wheels will fit.

I am not an XC guy, but I believe you can generally swap brakes. I am sure there is a V70XC brake upgrade post somewhere.

Bilstein touring or Sachs are generally the preferred shocks for a good ride.
