Camber setting for xc70

Post by darrylrobert » Sun May 10, 2020 2:15 am

Reading the Haynes manual on removal/replacement of the front struts and ive realized ive forgotten about camber. I marked my old strut before removal but thats of no use as i installed a replacement strut.

Instead of going to a shop, can i use a cheap tool online, and what is the factory camber setting meant to be?

Most important is toe. When you unbolt the struts you need to preserve mostly toe. For toe you need Trackace.

I also have the FasTrax 9100, but it is not very useful for our camber range. You can set camber to 0 or slightly negative with a carpenters level and be fine.
