2007 S40 leaking water, passenger compartment., factory sunroof car. The driver side floor gets wet and a airbag code came up. Where are the typical places to look on these cars ? Its a really nice car in perfect shape and I want to keep it that way.
Thanks for any help.

Pull the plastic trim off the windshield pillar and you will find a drain tube that has come out of its place..I just did this to mine.

Pulling the trim is were to start. I have done this repair on many S 40's. Here are some hints. Unless your good at not breaking retainer clips you might get a new upper clip for the repair. Second the hose comes out of the rubber drain tube near the glass because it shrinks in length over time. For a successful repair you will need to ad some length to the hose. Come back up the pillar and find a spot to cut the tube an insert a short peace to lengthen it. Use vinyl hose and glue, place your repair section over the original hose to avoid a restriction. clean the inner surface of the rubber hose at the glass and add some glue to the cleaned tube end and push it in.
