2008 xc70 broken tabs on blower motor casing

2008 xc70 broken tabs on blower motor casing

So I found the blower motor casing tabs that hold the blower motor in place are broken. I'm thinking I need to remove the center console and dashboard to access and replace the casing. Am I accurate?
