Centering the rear subframe

So I am reinstalling the rear subframe on my 2007 XC70. The tech manual I’m using indicates using centering sleeves (9997017) in the rear two mounts. These sleeves appear to slide over the two rear mount bolts to “center” the two rear mounts prior to tightening down the front mounts. Then once the front is tight, you remove the sleeves and tighten the rear mounts. In another section, the tech manual suggests making the sleeves (20mm wide x 50mm long with a 13mm center bore). I can’t find anything on this topic. I searched for the Volvo part number and came up empty. I don’t have the equipment to manufacture these. I am certainly not the first to drop and reinstall a rear subframe. What do you suggest?

You can probably align the subframe by guiding the visual marks that the subframe bushings have left on the chassis.

My subframe is shifted fully back, for better oversized tire clearance. Same with the front subframe (shifted forward). It also makes it easier to remove the propeller shaft from angle gear's and Haldex's flanges

Thanks for the quick reply! That’s a great idea that I had not considered. I wanted to keep the rear straight since I just put on new tires. I also noted your idea of shifting both subframes out. Next tire buy might just include that trick! For now I’m finishing up the details while waiting for my carbon-fiber tube to come. Thanks again!
