850 floor mat under the bottom bracket wet.

Hy Buddies,

Hope all of you and families are safe...

A question about my 850 : when it rains, i find quickly the floor mate under the bottom bracket wet, on the left side, near the clutch (the red round on the pic). I think it's water that runs by the hole of the sunroof, inside the front pillar to the bottom of the inside.

Does someone had to deal with this issue ? Do i need to unscrew the dashboard to remove the pillar cover ? Or to pass through with the needle i use for electrical cables could be successful to unblock the "hose" ?


Another question : the cruise control and the rear wipe screen don't function. I've look to the fuse box and all there is fine. I didn't teste the wipe electrical engine. Is there a way to have a look to some diagrams, and does this other issue inspire somebody ?

Good to hear from you! Hope you too are keeping safe.

Check the door seals in the area of the door mirrors. Point a hose at this area and see if water gets passed there.

Check the drain is clear from the area of the main fuse box under the panel where the window wiper motor is hidden. If this blocks it can cause the water to drain down into the footwell.
