Dolby Surround and heater core

Hello everyone, just answered my own question. I replaced the heater core today on redc70, and saw this in the way. Just that I've never seen this Dolby system right here on any other videos I had watched to get an idea of how to do it. Had to remove the mounting brackets and push it to the left side and out of the way.
I ran the car for about 15 minutes, got it up to operating temp, no leaks!

I was confused when I found the premium sound system's amp in front of the heater core in my 96R as well.

It wasn't until I was done and got back into the house that I looked up the part number. Guess that's why the premium sound system really sounds so good. I have the Bose premium sound in my Armada, and its nothing like the Volvo.

In front or behind? Usually an R is behind a T5...

Actually you are right, it is behind the heater core. I just said in front because it was in my way when I tried to access the heater core reaching under the das from the passenger side foot well.
