My sticker has long ago unstuck itself from the timing cover, i want to check i have fitted the correct timing belt and tensioner kit. I cannot find info on VIDA, my registration papers have a engine number but it has too many numbers and letters in it. I looked on the engine block but cannot see anything where VIDA says it should be.

You have to remove the exhaust cover plate and look on a shelf right behind the exhaust cam side of the cylinder head, and clean it with a paper towel and gunk remover

Its like the crank timing mark, you can't see it with both eyes and only the first 2 numbers are accessible.
And thats if you know exactly where its located and get it cleaned enough to read.
Photo above is probably from a boroscope.
I reached in with my cellphone and took a dozen photos, finally got it after scrubbing the shelf with a toothbrush and brakecleen.
I need to swap the steering rack too, should have just pulled the engine and made everything easier.
