installed a new REM.

Must I connect the DICE and reload the REM software?

I believe a new or used REM needs to be programmed to your vehicle. Apparently members on this site can do this using VIDA via the internet. If its New as in not used i believe a Volvo dealer can programme it but they wont touch it is its used is what i heard (could be wrong)

If it NEW module, yes need to reload, But I do not thing you can use offline VIDA for this target. You have to use online VIDA and subscription, or use some alternative service, for example our online service.

For this service you have to have DiCE, laptop with Windows and reliable Internet connection.
For best result also, you have to connect some charger to battery and power supply for laptop.
First we make an appointment for the remote session... for communication we use skype, viber, telegram and/or phone.
For work, you have to download and install small application and follow our instructions. Actually, it is easy. ))

I’ve got Dice. Had trouble with it reading my VIn.
Didn’t find it easy to use.
