New Tow bar fitted

Hi, I have a new detachable tow bar fitted to my V70, but as with the old tow bar the factory fit reversing sensors are permanently squawking, Is there a method of stopping them when i have a trailer fitted. I can't think that the tow bar installer even considered this problem although I did mention it when i dropped the car of at the garage. Any info please.

the towbar module is meant to compensate for this. it sounds like your installer didnt use the module. You need to ask instaler to install an on/off switch to turn off the sensors manually when you have a trailer.
