air flap actuator arm falls off and goes click click click

Hi Folks,
New to post although I have used site for much information over the years.
I replaced the broken one with a new recirculating air flap actuator that keeps falling off. Is there anything that holds this part in place? Just changed compressor and would like to get fixed so im not pulling in outside air.

The white plastic part that locks the arm on breaks , the arm is available as a replacement part

I think it’s the 6808653 part
