Hello again everyone.
Well I have a recurring question on the clearing of the ABS error message I have on my DIM after pulling the DIM for repair. Of course I did not obey and follow your instructions about pulling the battery cable first. I had the DIM repaired about 2 months ago and just today I stopped off at a good indy mechanic who said he would clear the ABS error message for free. He used the code reader I attached below. After several attempts he told me that he could not erase it and I must have another issue. My you, this all began by pulling my instrument cluster. I never had any ABS issue before. What do I do next?

I thought that an air bag error was stored if the battery was left connected while disconnecting the climate system. You are seeing a different error - (ABS) is the anti-lock braking system.

If there is an ongoing condition, you cannot clear the code and expect it to go away.

What is the actual ABS numeric code?
Have you tried using the ABS - does it still pulse the brakes on a sudden stop (no cars behind you :)?
