Failed glove test

Just for laughs and giggles I decided to do the glove test on Sveedy today. She failed ! I did the PCV system about 5K ago ( 129k at that point ) so I'm not sure what to think. Everything was surprisingly clean - ports etc, but a swabbed them out just the same. Hope I don't need to take it apart again but if I do then oh well. It wasn't that hard of a job.
Any thoughts as to what the problem might be ?

Did you glove test right after the PCV work? Did it pass then?

Logically I would think human error - pinched line or something, but the only line that seemed tight was the top one that seems to get pinched a bit by the fuel injector cover.

I have read that if the PTC port gets clogged up, then that can also cause the glove to inflate. If you haven't done it already, it might be a good idea to pull the PTC and check to see if it's clean.

Google is my friend - I found out what it is and where it's located. Never heard about its existence, much less touched it.
Guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it is the problem...

There is a port I the block that plugs if you had more than 10% sludge in the pCV box. You can clean it without dropping the oil pan with a stiff hose

Well I'm foolish for not having checked it when I did the PCV system. But as I said there was no sludge. Just a little bit of oil. In fact everything looked so clean that I kept the old trap. I think that the system might have been replaced before but I really don't know.
I'll pull and clean the PTC and will CHECK it this time. I also read something about drilling out the PTC so that air flows better with less chance of clogging. Any thoughts on that ?

My PTC valve had a small hole in metal surrounded by a "D" shape. The "D" shape popped out with a screwdriver so I didnt have to do any drilling. My engine still smokes with this mod. I'm going to try the larger heater hose next. Anyone know if using the heater hose causes it to kink when making 90 degree turna?
