Fittings advice needed for a GT30 turbo

Post by BeefSupreme »

Hi guys,

I'm looking to replace the TD04 16T turbo with a GT30 on a 2000 2.3l C70.

Does anyone know if the GT30 is a direct bolt on? And if not, any idea if there are flanges/fittings available?

Thanks in advance

They both use a variation of T-3 flange. Adapters are available for T-3, T-4, other flanges, and v-clamp for K24 as well, in straight or angle flange, you can get many turbos, configured to fit your need. Check Swedespeed and Volvospeed build threads as well as the performance forum here on MVS.
Current Volvos:
1998 V70 T5, 112k sat 5 years, still in mechanical coma (finally at the top of the pile )
2004 XC90 T6 AWD: 186k, 60 on transaxle ( traded in )
1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)
