Any idea what might cause this sound on a 98 S70 T5?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilRT4YF1hX0
It occurs at low speeds when weight is being put on the drivers side, such as stopping or turning right. It sounds like it's coming from the front driver's wheel. The wheel bearings were replaced within the past 3 years. Switched out the brake pads which didn't help. Greased the caliper bolts, also no effect. Tightened the wheel axle nut, which might have helped a little (still evaluating) since it doesn't occur all of the time. It doesn't sound like the CV axle, although they tend to go frequently on this car, so not impossible and the speed and situations that produce the sound supports that. The CV boot looks intact and the sound is definitely not the typical CV clicking sound. Also, the tires are new as of a few weeks ago. Any thoughts?

I can't hear the sound clearly. There are a few possible thinks to check:
1) Spring seat on front left strut top.
2) Could be the sub-frame bushes on the left side
3) Sway-bar bush broken/split.
4) Sway-bar end links failing
5) CV boot is possible but hard to tell from this.
Neil.

Thanks for the direction! The sound is really apparent at about 13 seconds into the video. It almost sounds like the tire rubbing, but I don't see any evidence of that being the case. We recently replaced the sway bar end link and the entire strut assembly. Will double check it all though.
