Removing 2nd Row middle seat - Seat belt Problem

Post by Turbo_Boss »

Hey Guys

I have a 2008 XC90 3.2 AWD

The 2nd row middle seat belt got stuck around the headrest. Please check my photo so you understand my problem

Is there is a way to remove the headrest? On the web its say it can't be removed

I was thinking on removing the middle seat so I can tilt it in order to loosen up the seat belt and can release the seat belt from the headrest.

I am pretty sure I will have to remove the 4 bolt that attach the middle seat to the floor (Remove first the plastics that cover those screws)

Is there is a DIY Video on how to remove this seat? Or the side Seat? I just don't want to break anything or have to spend "all" day doing this

Thx & Rgds

Isaac

You sure you cannot move the left seat by normal means and right portion just right?

That said look up fuel pump repair - the seats need to be removed for that operation. You will find write ups and videos.

It may be possible to just attack the anchor bolt - I don't recall how the seat folds - three pieces or two pieces (and which seats are attached).
