Ordered iCarSoft V 2.0 Reader
It is due in Friday. It is supposed to work on both my 2005 V70 and 2016 V60, I will let you know how it does. I almost went the Vida/Dice way, but I just have enough projects going on already.

I have it now. I haven't used it much yet, but it definitely can do way more than a standard code reader. It sees pretty much what you all are seeing with the DICE/VIDA units, but it cannot do things like upload software to the car. I didn't even know my V70 had a door module, let alone two of them!
I am going to try it on my 2016 V60 to read the oil level, Volvo decided dipsticks are too easy for modern cars

I haven't tried anything complicated with it yet. I'll see if it can do the seat-sensor thing in my other thread soon. I will be very happy if it can do that.
It is very easy to use - just plug it in.
