Somehow this is ended up in XC90 forum, but applies to any P2 (and, perhaps, to P1): https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forum ... 10&t=85611 In short, with cheap hardware it is possible now to obtain PIN for CEM reload/reconfiguration. A few people were able to have their CEMs cracked successfully, more in progress.

Is not a Tennsy lower cost then a Teensy and two CAN-BUS shields?
Waiting for the version that uses the Teensy three onboard CAN-BUS.

Anecdotally, not. CYT is ~$1, MCP is $2.5 = $3.5 vs $10 for SN65HVD230.

But that is only a few beers and does not really matter

Yea but the new schematic shows a Teensy 4.0 with two CAN-BUS sheilds.

I'm pretty sure the version that uses the onboard CAN-BUS will fit in a ELM327 project case. I'm not sure of the other version.
