The P2 S60 is a small car, both inside and outside. The V70 is a little longer but still rather small. The S60 is just as big as a 2014 Honda Civic (previous gen), however the Civic has lots more leg room inside. P2 were made 20 years ago, different designs. And the Outback is a pretty big boat actually, really long

Small fun fact, I did find a pre-design sketch of the S60, the rear leg room was almost 8 inches bigger than the final production car. Not sure where the engineers didn't agree with the designers, but in the end the rear seats were placed much closer to the front ones - and perhaps the trunk size was much increased this way

Great survey. Really intelligent options. Especially the last two.

That's funny! We have a Subaru Outback and my XC70. The Subaru is a bigger car but probably lighter. Both have a 2.5l engine. The Volvo I would say has more useable space and is more comfortable and we have two big dogs that prefer the lower loading deck of the Volvo. The Subaru has less power but gets much better mileage. I would say that with the back seats down the Volvo has much more space in the back because the rear seat bases don't flip up as they do in the Volvo.
It snowed about 14 inches on December 23'd and the score was: Subaru 1, Volvo 0. The Volvo didn't have the ground clearance to risk taking it out in snow this deep!

That is a lot of snow. But you did such a neat job on your front steps!

It seems I should have added a line item In the poll saying “You already did this topic a year ago, dummy!”

And I don’t have...any uncles.....(sob)
