2002 Volvo V70XC
I have replaced the DDM and was able to raise the window, BUT then my wife took the dogs out and lowered it and it's stuck down again. I ordered another (new to me) DDM AND passenger control just in case, and the window isn't moving. I only hear the 'click" in the DDM and fuse box (fuse is new).
What am I missing, and/or how can I raise this window?

Thanks in advance for the help πŸ†˜

.
Try a reset but first keep the button pushed down (manual mode) and pull the fuse. Then remove the key, put back fuse, key back to POS II and see if it moves. If it moves, try the reset procedure

It's not a calibration issue. The front windows and passenger rear all work fine. Just the driver's side rear window is stuck in the down position.

one window can lose calibration, usually happens to my driver window only.

Also, depending on weather, a window can freeze to the seal and strip the plastic slider blocks from the rail.

Windows can be activated from within vida, that bypasses the DDM.

Oh, I didn't read properly, so one of the rear windows. Does the window work at the rear door switch ?

can you apply 12v directly to the motor? the rear windows use a pretty clever (i think) steel wire pulley setup, maybe a wire has broken check it for operation.

I've had two windows go bad on me. In my 02 XC70 and both times after I took the doors apart unplugged all the wiring and cleaned everything they worked. Lots of dust can accumulate in the electronics and you will start to have Gremlins. Sometimes electronics are just dirty. Ever have an outside light not work and give it a bump with your fist and it comes on?
