2006 V70 automatic 160k miles - stalling, brake problems

I have a 2006 volvo v70 automatic it has 160k miles FWD and was just recently in for a timing and serpentine belt replacement, oil change, brakes aswell as the front axle boots. It has been riding rougher since it was in the shop and wants to stall when put in reverse and sometimes when accelerating from a stop. It has only stalled once though when backing up. It also when braking sometimes lurches forward and feels like its going over the axle, weird. no matter how you apply the brake I've tried hard and gentle and constant. Its been about 2 moths since all of this was done and its been gradually getting worse. And it happens in any road conditions, don't know if this is enough info but anything would help.
