2012 S60 T6 PCV & MPG

My 2012 S60 R-design just rolled 100K so I decided to change the pcv breather box. Long story short, I didn’t use a Volvo breather box, instead, I opted for the dorman one and it was around ~80$. The replacement went smoothly, and what little suction was present when removing the oil cap before, disappeared when the new box was installed. It’s been about 800 miles since it was replaced, and I’m now getting atrocious gas mileage. Before, I was averaging about 24. I live in Kansas, no traffic and lots of straight consistent roads. Now, I’m getting 20 under the same driving patterns. Has anyone else had this problem? There don’t appear to be any vacuum leaks around the seal of the box, and the hose running to the intake is snug. In the 4000 miles I’ve owned the car, it hasn’t burned any oil. Should I spring for a Volvo breather box and see if that remedies the problem?
