Seat interchangeability? c70 / v70

Post by Wpc70 »

I have a 99 c70 with low miles, and In great shape.
The only problem is the drivers seat is a little torn up.
I’ve looked into repairing or replacing the seat cover, and I can’t seem to do that without spending upwards of a grand.
In short, i found a used seat out of - v70 or an s70 that has no damage, for cheap. The question is, are the seats interchangeable?
My car is a 99 c70, the donor is out of a 2000, from what I’m told.
I’d appreciate any feedback.
As a side note, I recently removed and replaced
my drivers seat. After I put it back in, the power seat does not work, for driver or passenger. The battery was disconnected, but not grounded to the car.
I read there is a relay that can trip like a fuse, and needs to be reset. I cannot find it, or a fuse for the power seats.
Any suggestions?
Thanks much!

Grab those good V70 seats as those are in demand. What colour are they?

They are beige or light beige. Are you interested?
I am still thinking of going with seat covers as opposed to replacing the seat.
