Hi everyone!
Im new here.
Well i read a lot of this forum, but now im sodesperate that i had to registr here and ask for help.
I have 850 combi, 2.0 non turbo 93kW, year 1995 with LPG STAG 300.
I have car about a year now.
I buy car 20.000km ago and make big service.
I make new timming belt, water pump, thermostat, ECT, PCV system, headgasket, refubrished head, clean everything, new clutch kit, new steering rack, some bearings, complete suspension etc..
I have never problem like now.
In this time is here a cold weather and i have big problem with starting engine in morning or when its cold.
It take about 20 seconds to start.
Well, after reading on few forums i make this:
New fuel pump, new fuel pump relay, new plug wiring, new spark plugs, new titan O2 sensor, new distributor and cap, new fuel regulator, injectors are cleaned, throttle body cleaned, TPS is working fine.
And i have ECT for about 15.000km, well i hear it can make this problem with start, so i buy new, but nothing happend. After one week with new Hella ECT gauge tell me engine temp is on low and engine idling about 1500rpm. Gauge is on the first point of the gauge.
But thermostat working, because top hose is very hot and LPG ecu tells me temp is great.
I try measure with ohm meter and ECT looks good, TPS too, idle valve is cleaned and have 0.8Ohm - so is good too. Today i cleaned connectors on ECT and spray it with contact spray, ECU pins too. Nothing happend.
As you can see i try hard as i can, but now im so screwed.
Any advice, please?
Many thanks, Pesek.

Please check the connector to the ECT for corrosion and the wiring leading to the connector. Also make sure both wire connectors in the plug are properly seated in the plastic connector.

Are you starting on LPG or petrol?
Is the ECT Volvo or some other brand?
1. Spot a Infrared Thermometer on the Thermostat housing.
2. Connect a Ohm meter across the ECT.
3. Check the ECT resistance against the temperatures using the chart below.
* Start measuring the resistance when the engine is stone cold. Record the resistance - temperature data sets as the temperature come up.
