Recommendation for touch up paint and clear coat?

Post by wrybread »

I'm looking for some touch up paint for my nautic blue s70, especially on the bumper. And I plan to try replacing some of the clear coat where it's peeling on the roof and trunk.

Any tips?

What I did was visiting a good paint/autopartsstore and asked them to mix the Nautic Blue (colorcode 417) with two components clear coat in the same aerosolcan. Then I visited a good buddy of mine who is also a good polisher/painter (it's his job) and he carefully sprayed the many scratches in the front and rear bumper and then polished it really intense. The results are very nice. I'll try to post some before and after pics when the weather clears up here in the Netherlands.
