2004 Volvo C70, 2.3 AW55
I had a wheel bearing replaced in august, noticed right after the abs and stc light would pop up after hitting a bump, would shut the car off and it would reset, abs would only stay for a couple seconds after driving, finally got around to it last week suspecting it was the abs module, cracked open the abs module to check any bad solders, didn’t see any so I put it back it in to try it. Abs, brake and cel reading P0504 popped up so I replaced the module thinking I messed something up within the module, same thing, odometer pops up for about 5 seconds then goes to slashes, also I hear some sort of wiring noise coming from the radiator area and as soon as the noise stops the odometer goes to slashes, I’ve replaced the brake pedal position sensor and no luck, any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you check the ABS sensor especially on the side that had the new bearing? They may have damaged it while repairing or broken the wires. Also (hard to see) but try to check the reluctor ring on the axle shaft (at the back of the wheel bearing)for the ABS and check it is not full of crud or cracked.

The whirring noise is probably the ETM under the intake running it's self check on start up. Try getting someone else to turn the key on and see if you can isolate where the noise is coming from.

Last issue may be a bad ignition key electrical section. Try wiggling the key when running and see if anything happens.

Did you replace the module with a new one or used?
