stumbling then dying

Post by spbaker »

have a 2001 S60 T5
about 10 seconds after startup it starts stumbling and wanting to die, however it is still drivable by giving it a little gas.
Had to get to work so I drove it for a couple days, now it is dying after going about a mile.
I changed the Mass air sensor, no change
I changed the coils, no change
need some help on this one.

Check if there's any loose air piping from the MAF to the throttle body.

Double check your Turbo outlet to ETM pipe, especially since you changed the coils.
Double check your electrical connection to your MAF, and your hose from MAF to Turbo inlet.

Loose air piping is likely culprit, assuming you bought a quality MAF and quality coils (Bosch or OEM).
