Tearing down the old 50-42LE from my '97 T5 to swap into the wife's '97 GLT (has 300K on it and not in it's prime).
During the process, this little anti-rattle clip under the F3 Freewheel assembly comes out in 2 pieces.
I contacted the supplier of the overhaul kit (Oregon Performance Transmission) and it's not in their kit, or something their supplier has available.
Aside from tearing apart another trans to hopefully find a good one, does anyone have any info on a possible part number? My Google-Fu isn't yielding any results.
Seeing as it's fairly captured, I may explore a couple repair options, or just leave it out. Not quite sure yet.
