Installing V70 D-pillar speakers in 850 wagon? Topic is solved

Hello, since my 850 wagon with the six-speaker audio system seems to have provisions for mounting the two extra speakers in the D-pillars from the eight-speaker system i'm looking to install a pair. Today i managed to find a junked V70 1999 with speakers in the D-pillars. I'm wondering if these are the same as the ones that were available on the 850? It would also be nice if omeone could provide some general info about the different audio related options for the 850 and V70. I haven't been able to find a lot of info about the different OEM head units and how to tell which one your car came with etc.

Mine is prewired for D-pillar speakers and speaker wiring are connected with cd-player....tried it and speakers work but i have a problem to find original speakers with their original mountings to fit them.

Speakers from '99 will work fine in your 850.
