Anniversary Trip to the Berkshires
It was our anniversary weekend and we decided to take the V70 on a trip up north to the Berskshires in MA. The car was in desperate need to stretch it's legs, and we needed to get out of the house. Lexie came along as well and enjoyed the scenery.
First things first, breakfast at the American Pie Company in Sherman, CT. Then a quick photo stop at the Museum of Industrial History in Kent, which was closed due to renovations. The forest at the base of Mt. Greylock. The road to the summit was closed for whatever reason, but there are hiking trails everywhere so we didn't mind. The Berskshires. 1935 Ford V8 on the way back. The famous Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA. Time for coffee and crumpits. Quick stop at Kent Falls State Park before getting back home. Heading out without a real agenda was super relaxing. Since this trip was so much fun we decided do this more often now.
