Hi guys.
Have been rebuilding my motor for the last two months.
Last week I needed to get the odometer reading for registration and put the key in and dash fired up no dramas.
Yesterday I went to start the vehicle and turned the key and nothing. No Dash power, no windows power, no indicators, wipers or stereo. The car won't kick over. No fuel pump sound.
Initially the stereo did turn on once and after that it won't turn on now neither.
Break lights are working, cabin lights working, hazard is working and seats working
I tried a new battery and no result.
Checked mostly all relevant fusing and cannot get a breakthrough as to what is wrong.
I have checked for water leaks on the CIM but nothing evident.
I'm at a loss trying to understand what has gone wrong. The dash has no power so no errors to see.
The only indiscrepancy is that I left the key on accessories when getting the odometer reading them pulled the battery power. I don't think that's an issue.
Any help is appreciated.

What was the solution to this? Something with a ground cable I assume?
