Bought a 243k+ miles 2008 Volvo X90 3.2 on marketplace

I bought a very cheap volvo xc90 on marketplace from a lady that no longer needs it because of the cost of the repair. She bought new tires for it when she purchased it last year and when the drive belt disintegrated she just let it sit for 2 months waiting for a better offer. Interior needs TLC and of course there are things needed fixing, such as the AC, driver door window regulator and remote key fob not working. Surprised that the aftermarket remote start works!

Here are the bad things I discovered:
- nest on top of the engine, hidden under the cover. No eggs or animals staying.. luckily wires were not chewed. Just in time for me.
- tensioner is still original at this mileage (previous owner doesn't care about maintenance)
- steering pump bolts missing/not installed! not just 1 but 2! only thing holding it is the rear bracket, I don't know how it sounded before but it should be vibrating like crazy.
- window not opening on driver side, the rests works
- remote key fobs don't work but the aftermarket remote start works (lock/unlock still won't work)
- no air on the vents and I couldn't hear the actuators moving when I'm pressing the buttons.
- leather needs TLC
- drive front seat has a twisting motion, cable might be bad on one side of the gear.

I'll be tackling this fixes in the coming weeks..

updates on what needs fixing or minor issues.

here's my computer scan, somehow my Autel scanner wasn't able to connect to ECM, I have to switch to EOBD (Enhanced OBD mode) to get the codes.

Got the driver seat twist issue fixed for free. The shaft to the gear dislodged due to a broken bracket. I just re-insert them without pulling the seat. Can't really pull them out without sliding the seat so that bolt will be exposed, so do it the hard way, luckily it could be raised.

I also found the issue with the turn left signal causing door lock open message and internal lights to go off. The common wire loom issue at the door which has a broken ground wire. I have to wait for my de-pinning tool kit to fix it, temporarily putting the ground wire restore my unlock/lock door and window issue, also the signal lights on the side mirror is also working.

finally fixed the broken ground wire issue. I consider it not an ideal fix since I can't route the 2 aftermarket wires to be in the connector. All the slots were filled.

For the broken ground wire issue, I thought it was related to my braking but it was all about the left turn signal. I have to brake to do a left or right turn and that's where it happens all the time.
