Thanks, I may try a reinstall yet again at some point in the future, as I simply wanted to read some codes, and got frustrated.

1982 240DL: Drove it 32 years and 1.5 million miles (sold, even still had mint leather!)
2001 v70 2.4T: The most expensive $1500 car I ever bought ("Volvo Turbo" - what an oxymoron!) (sold)
2004 v70: Current, far less fatally-flawed v70 - only 200K miles, so "like new"

IE Tab or the new Internet Explorer (IE) mode in Edge. Which is pretty much the same thing as IE Tab.
The IE rendering engine that IE tab and Internet Explorer (IE) mode uses is still present in Windows 11.

Evening all,
I'm having issues installing VIDA on Windows 10. I've tried 3 times, each time when I get to the VIDA login page it won't let me type anything in the username box. Just get a flashing cursor and that's all.
I've tried installing in the folders automatically suggested, I've tried installing straight into C, I've used a fresh download of the crack/patch each time.
Could anyone help? I've getting really frustrated with this one.
Many thanks
Jacob

I've tried again, and this time, inexplicably it has worked. Good job as I was ready to let my Volvo run me over in a bid to end the frustration.
Thank you for posting this!

Thanks to everyone that has worked to get the VIDA installation process to work. I have installed Vida twice. It will "launch" to the login screen. I can't enter Username data into the field to log in. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I am using Windows 10 Pro version 20H2 (no upgrades from Microsoft) with the Edge browser using the Internet Explorer add-on.
The installation went fairly smoothly, only one error from one of the command files (number 3 but it completed). The "configuration" pop up had success for all except the last one that was "not scheduled".
I am using a Lenovo X301 laptop. 1.6GHz processor, 4GB of ram with a SSD of 120GB, approximately 50 space available after installation.
I don't see the license file in the installation folder (C:\Vida)

I want to add that the entire installation was done using an Administrator privilege Windows account.
