replacement cat

Post by jackteet »

Hi, I have a March 1998 V70 to which there is fitted a donor engine B5252S from a late 1998 S70. The VIN number of the engine shows it is a 2.5, 10v, 144 bhp. YV1LS5106W2519955.
Looking on ebay .es and Autodoc in Spain, APT-autoteile in germany the engine number is quoted as B5252FS. The fitment is 4 bolt into the manifold and two holes for sensors.
Have you guys come across these engine numbers, and as I am only buying a Cat will the difference in bhp output between from the two engines make any real difference. thanks jack
