Hi all,
So I've downloaded and used VDASH for a couple of things and I'd like to decode the CEM PIN for my P2 car.
However, I don't have the fabled "DECODE PIN" button that everyone says you must click. Instead, in that position I have a red message that says that the PIN has not yet been decoded. Which I know.
But the problem is that of course if I have that text instead of the button, I can't click the button.
Do I need to buy a VDASH subscription for this to work? If so, which one? I've tried to ask the VDASH author but have received no response and there are pointed messages saying everywhere that if you don't pay, you don't get help. But of course I need help to know whether/how much I ought to pay.
If anyone's played with the latest version of VDASH and knows how to decode the CEM PIN for P2 car with a DiCE unit, let me know.
Anyone used VDASH? How to decode CEM PIN?

P2 PIN routine is very different from P3. Brute-forcing CEM PIN on P2 takes up to 42 (older 250 Kbps CAN) or 21 (newer 500 Kbps) years.
A bunch of people here on MVS have figured out how to deal with that and get the pin in under 1 hour (usually about 15-20 minutes), see the thread reference in signature. You need to solder a board or get a ready one from one of the members, a few of them posted their own PCB designs.
VDASH miraculously started to offer similar hw once we had our solution opensourced

I decoded the CEM pin in Vdash for my xc90 but how do I actually see what the pin is? I want to make another ignition key for it. I got the remote fob programmed but can’t figure out the ignition side. Sounds like I need to manually enter the CEM pin somewhere to be able to do the ignition?

VDASH doesn't tell you the PIN number, it just tells you if you unlocked it.
