2000 S70 transmission code problem What has failed on your 1992-2000 FWD or AWD Volvo?

I have a Volvo S 70 2000 non turbo, 2.4 front wheels drive. While driving at 60 miles an hour, suddenly, the transmission made a bumping move and the arrow started flashing and the check engine light turned on. I had it hook up on the Auto zone scanner
which gave me the codes: P 1618 fault in lead between AW 50-52 and Motronic 4.3
and Code P0740 Torque converter clutch solenoid.
I replaced the solenoid ( the one with the black connector) the arrow is still flashing.
I replaced the whole valve body, the arrow continues flashing while the car runs great.
I think the computer holds the old message. How can I erase the codes? or is there any other reasons that might cause it?

And yes, the fault code needs to be erased or it will keep popping up like a bad penny - even though I don't know what that means.
