Rotors 286 / 305 / 320 at FCP

Curious that FCP's page on my specific car shows 286, 305, and 320mm rotors all fitting. ('04 XC70).

Volvo parts webstore shows my car has 320mm rotors. I didn't think to measure them on previous control arm or strut projects.

Guess I'll buy the 320 Zimmermanns.

FCP tells me they're 286, based on VIN. So don't always trust those parts diagrams.

There's a Brembo and a Zimmermann 286.
Akebono pads are $75, TRW on sale at $45, hmm...

Yep, my XC wagon has 286 rotors. FCP tells me all three sizes were used that year, depending on the options the VIN tells you.

So I went with the Zimmermann rotors + Akebono pads, along with new front hoses. FCP sale!

I went with Brembo rotors and Pagid pads from FCP Volvo. I also bled the front and rear calipers while I'm at it. Everything feels fine!

The Volvo rotors come with two parts of the caliper bracket flange screws each, which are must replace items on this job and are often nasty rusted heads in the Real climate areas.

The screws are about $4 each otherwise

You mean the caliper attachment bolts themselves? Not the rotor hats or something else.

I'll check that, in no hurry, just the labour day sale.

Caliper bracket attachment flange bolts.

Caliper bolts usually stay with the caliper.
